Concept
Flame-retardant Rhythm embodies three-dimensional, morse code-like materiality by uniting irregular rhythms of volumes, colours and subtly graphic dots and lines. It drapes to a particularly characterful effect and can be hung vertically or horizontally. Consequently, it offers diverse possibilities to make linear, graphic statements. Colours gently emerge from the relief-like, Jacquard-woven lines and dots that contrast with Rhythm’s ground. In this way, they add to its timeless yet contemporary expression.

Inga Sempé
France
Biography Inga Sempé French designer, born in Paris, Inga Sempé graduated from Les Ateliers (National School of Industrial Creation, Paris) in 1993. From 2000 till 2001 she was scholarship holder at the Villa Medici, Academy of France in Rome and her own ouvert Studio the same year. In the beginning, she first collaborated with the Italian companies Cappellini and Edra. Now Sempé works with scandinavian Among Others, italian and french companies Such As HAY, Ligne Roset, Wästberg, Alessi, LucePlan, Mutina, Røros, Moustache, Svenskt Tenn, Gärsnäs. She lives and works in Paris assisted by two other designers.
