Rhomb table
Architonic ID: 1442889
To match the chair, Simon Morasi Piperčić designed a table with rhomboid shaped legs. They are positioned diagonally in the direction of the corners of the table. Looked from the corner two legs are very thin and other two wide, which gives a table and interesting dynamic look. Table top has a lens like form and sharp knife edge, which makes it very elegant. Especially when the table is made in lacquered finish with Fenix top.
Concept
Our intention was to design a chair with a distinguishing identity combined with accentuated comfortableness. For that reason, our design includes a number of small but decisive shifts in geometry and ergonomics that have been meticulously researched in the course of the project development. The Rhomb is somewhat wider than a common chair while its backrest organically continues into prolonged armrests. This allows for various, more relaxed seating positions and feasting becomes a hedonic act. The chair's organic shape is in opposition with the contemporary rhomboid geometry found in the cross section of the backrest and legs. Tactile and visual qualities of solid wood are accentuated owing to the combination of the state-of-the-art technology and sophisticated manual processing.
