Mirror in 6 mm-thick welded glass. The angle of the mirror’s surfaces reflects the object from several points of view.
Concept
"A mirror is used to reflect a face, thus to create a portrait (a portrait of ourselves!). But portraits are something very intimate that have always been enclosed in precious frames." The work of Marta Laudani and Marco Romanelli plays on this semantic ambiguity by placing a wooden frame on a large mirror sheet: in the general reflection of the body, the face will be ‘framed’ in a special way. In this game of roles, you can also choose to put ‘your own portrait’ in a baroque style frame, or, vice versa, in a minimalist one.
