Porsche has designed a bathroom series for Duravit with clean, reduced elements that radiate a natural look at the same time. Like an alternate reality to the hectic flurry of everyday life, the clear design language of the series will turn your bathroom into a private, relaxing space. The sense of calm is underscored by the natural feel of the series. The design of Qatego is inspired by stones worn smooth by water. It’s based on natural materials with tactile surfaces such as wood, ceramics and natural stone.

Professor Ferdinand Alexander Porsche, Enkel des Porsche Gründers, wollte stets das Außergewöhnliche. Mit Erfolg: Er entwickelte das Design des Porsche 911, der schnell zum Inbegriff des Sportwagens und zu einem Design-Klassiker wurde - ebenso wie viele andere Objekte, die Professor F.A. Porsche gestaltet hat. 1972 gründete Professor F.A. Porsche in Stuttgart das Porsche Design Studio, dessen Sitz er zwei Jahre später nach Zell am See in Österreich verlegte. In den folgenden Jahrzehnten entstanden zahlreiche klassische Herrenaccessoires wie Uhren, Brillen und Schreibgeräte, die unter der Marke "Porsche Design" weltweit vertrieben wurden. Aber auch eine Vielzahl an Industrieprodukten, Haushaltsgeräten und Gebrauchsgütern für international bekannte Auftraggeber wurde unter der Marke "Design by F. A.Porsche" entwickelt. Seit 2004 wird das Studio in Zell am See von Roland Heiler geführt. Professor F.A. Porsche ist Ehrenvorsitzender des Beirats des Porsche Design Studios.
