Origamilight II Sidetable is a table that works perfectly as a side table for a sofa or also as a bedside console with its warm ambiance glow. One Origamilight II module is inserted into a frame made from solid cherry or walnut wood (other woods available on request) and covered with a glass top. The filigree foot is manufactured from steel tubes finished in a warm grey. The cable is hidden inside the foot. A wall plug transformer connects to the table via a floor switch.

Concept
A threedimensional pattern of Japanese paper tiles reminding of a kaleidoscope when changing the angle of view is glowing softly in crème, apricot and orange hues depending on the brightness of the surrounding area. It therefore changes its appearance throughout the day which creates a very unique effect of ambiance illumination.
Our new ORIGAMILIGHT II modules are very flat and can be installed next to each other to form an impressive wall cladding, a wall hanging object or can be integrated into furniture. A side or bedside table and a sofa table with integrated ORIGAMILIGHT II modules are available in different wood finishes.

After his Bachelor of Science graduation from the renown Art Center (Europe) in Switzerland, Oliver Kessler lauched his first company in Munich and later shifted the company to Ingolstadt. Main emphasis of his studio Visual Support was on the creation of visual presentations for the management of leading automotive companies and automotive suppliers. He founded Oliver Kessler Design in 2007 with the aim to add the production of own product ideas to his portfolio of creative services. His portfolio is characterized by his interest in technology, new materials and sustainable design. Seeing himself as a creative coach he develops in close co-operation with his clients solutions in all technology and design oriented areas, e.g. automotive or corporate design. Among the references on project works are company names like Audi, Rohde & Schwarz or Microsoft.
