The Marée 402 Counter chair fits table heights around 95 cm, making it ideal for kitchens, restaurants, bars or hotels. It is available as a shell chair or with seat upholstery, inner side and full upholstery. The shell chair is designed with a shell in 100% recycled plastic.
The shell comes in the eight Montana colours Oat, Mushroom, Amber, Beetroot Flint, Parsley, Anthracite and Black. In the three upholstered versions, the chair is available in the textile families Remix 3, Raas, Re-wool, Steelcut 2, Steelcut Trio 3, Sabi and Hallingdal 65 – all in different colours. The chairs legs come in chrome or lacquered finishes in the same eight Montana colours. The chair is for indoor use only.
The chair has a height of 97 cm, a seat height of 66 cm, a depth of 51 cm, and a width of 55.6 cm.
Jakob Martin Skibsted is an award-winning designer. For the design of Marée, he found inspiration for the chair design from the distinctive wave-shaped sand grooves a tide creates. These waveshaped grooves provide structural strength and an aesthetic element to the chair.
Concept
The Marée chair is available as a shell chair, with seat-only upholstery, inside upholstery and full upholstery, making it suitable for both private homes, hospitality and meeting areas. In the versions with upholstery, the chair comes in the textile families Remix 3, Raas, Re-wool, Steelcut 2, Steelcut Trio 3, Sabi and Hallingdal65 – all in different colours.
The rational and clear design of Marée is complemented by the eight curated colours from the Montana palette. With the options of Oat, Mushroom, Amber, Beetroot, Flint, Parsley, Anthracite and Black the colours bring a contrasting softness to the chair.
Marée have achieved the EU Ecolabel certification. Moreover, Marée is tested and meets the requirements of EN16139 L1 for general use, testing the chair within strength, durability and stability, including EN1021.
