X Tableframe

The X table frame is a minimalist and sophisticated steel construction on which you can place a wide variety of table tops. It is characterized by its great flexibility and high utility value in everyday use. It follows your wishes and can be set up in different ways: You can mount the connecting cross (the eponymous "X") between the side sections in the middle of these if you want to use the table from both long sides. Alternatively, if you only want to use one long side, you can mount the cross at the edge to create more legroom under the tabletop. You can change this setting at any time. This means that you don't need a new table if your requirements change, just the Allen key. You can also use the versatility of the frame elsewhere: If you need a longer blackboard or a conference table, you can line up two (or more) frames lengthwise, i.e. build them one behind the other. In this case, you could also combine different frame colors. As the cross is detachably connected at the crossing point, the table frame is easy to transport and handle when it is disassembled. This not only makes it easy to carry, but also makes moving the frame to another location effortless. All connections can be assembled using the same Allen key. The frame is quick to assemble and essentially consists of just two different components: the side frames on which the table top rests and the connecting struts. Because the table frame X can be used in so many different ways, it is suitable for a wide range of situations: from a studio table during training to a dining table in the home to a variable office or conference table. The X table frame received the Red Dot Design Award "Best of the Best" in 2025. The quality of the table frame was described by the jury with these words, among others: "X is a rare example of how powerful low-tech can be. It is functional, like an engineering design and yet so strong in character that it becomes iconic. The precise workmanship, high-quality choice of materials and well thought-out construction are inspiring".
