The shelves are made of chipboard with a thickness of 25 mm and a white melamine resin coating. This certainly doesn't make it a light piece of furniture, but it can stand freely in the room with up to 4 shelves. Due to the ninety-degree twisted, i.e. longitudinally installed side-panels, no further bracing is necessary. It is reliably stable. Due to its stability, this shelf is ideal as a room divider and can also be used from both sides. Various assembly combinations are possible with the basic shelf and the add-on shelf. It is possible to install a sideboard or a shelf wall. It is also possible to line up and connect several shelves together. The shelving system can also be set up directly against a wall. From 4 levels upwards, the shelves must be fixed to the wall to prevent them from falling over. Two brackets for wall mounting are included with each set of shelving units (Built-up shelf). Please clarify with an adviser in the DIY store which screws and plugs are the right ones for your wall. Screws and plugs are not included in the scope of delivery.

Concept
This process is somewhat similar to upcycling. Since the shelves were made from existing pieces of a certain material, there wasn't much scope when designing them. However, this also meant that no time was wasted in choosing the material. However, the difficult part was to create a new and different shelf from a material from which many other shelves already existed. The designer's goal was to create a free-standing shelf without a rear wall that could be used from both sides and was therefore versatile. At the same time, the shelf had to have a nice design and match the brand. The shelving system IO was created: It is rotatable and very stable. It is also free-standing, as intended, and offers six areas. This shelf can even be used as a room divider. We ourselves are more than pleased with this shelving system
