Concept
As the Baobab is the reference point for orientation in the savannah, so powerful and so lonely, real core of social life and meeting place, so this metal suspension appears as the protagonist of the place that hosts it. From a light metal frame branch out the lamp arms that are harmoniously arranged in the space and culminate with large bulbs demonstrating a strong aesthetic value.
The suspension version has a metal counterweight, representing a memory of the Italian design of the 50s, which helps to keep in line the slim structure and gives a static and formal balance to the suspension.
Available as a suspension of three or six arms, Baobab can be hung individually or in groups, and furnishes the space with great stage presence.
Baobab can be used both in domestic and public spaces such as restaurants, hotel lobbies and common areas, always becoming the centre of social life.
