Concept
The kinetic art movement was the inspiration for the pattern featuring stripes of various widths on the Dibbets Barcode rug.
The kinetic geometry of Dibbets Barcode is a bold, distinguishing mark with a geometric effect that evokes movement. In the pattern, geometric strips made of bright Lyocell® viscose, a fibre produced from cellulose, alternate with others in New Zealand wool.
Dibbets Barcode is made with an artisanal process using the hand tufting method. It is available in a wide range of colours – Cord, Moss, Dark Brown, Iron and Charcoal- and sizes, and can also be supplied with customised measurements.
