Concept
Thick shelves create a decidedly horizontal pattern, interrupted here and there by vertical metal segments that create an irregular and eye-catching division of the space. The architectural formality of the project is complemented by an equally passionate quest for the finest and most unusual materials, creating a fascinating contrast. Thus the sheen of the polyester lacquered palisander and the glossy White and Granite lacquer finishes contrasts beautifully with the muted severity of the metal, finished in a fresh new “mille righe” design in Pewter color, created by Minotti Studio. To make the interplay of positive and negative space even more striking, the back panels are in White and Granite glossy lacquer finish or matt lacquered palisander.
