The ècdisi collection is the result of a research process inspired by the animal world of reptiles.
The term, originating from Greek, indicates the process of loss and reformation of the superficial layer of the epidermis. The skin, in fact, was the inspiration for the creation of a pattern from which a module reminiscent of
(adapting to the criteria of design, cutting and laying) the scales of snakes was derived. The regeneration process thus becomes the actual collection’s objective in terms of sustainability: the ability to adapt and last in a practically infinite amount of time. In fact, should the necessity arise, the individual elements lend themselves to being replaced over time.
