Let's take a quick look at the term: grey cast iron consists of a mixture of steel, scrap metal, charcoal, limestone and graphite. Our bases are manufactured using the old sandcasting procedure. The cast iron bases are cast individually in sandcasting moulds and then processed further by hand.
