Manto SP

Manto by Davide Besozzi is a collection of suspension lamps, available in 3 sizes (diameters: 70, 120 and 180 cm- 27 1/2”, 47 1/4” and 70 7/8”).

An opaline white blown glass sphere contains a LED light source and is supported by a telescopic arm, which protrudes from a painted steel cylinder. In turn, the cylindrical body – through steel tie rods – supports a white stretch fabric laid on a metal ring in a horizontal position.

By operating the telescopic arm, it is possible to move the diffuser in different positions: upwards, leaving it suspended at a distance from the elastic fabric, or downwards, so that the body touches or immerses into the fabric under tension.

The shape of the lamp and the light diffusion varies with each mutual position of these elements.
