Manhattan

The ‘Manhattan’ coffee table by Dutch designer Roderick Vos defies ‘traditional’ table typology with its composition of wooden blocks and empty spaces, inspired by Piet Mondriaan and Russian Constructivism. This low oak table is beautiful and striking and, in fact, extremely practical. ‘Manhattan’ embodies that well known phrase: a place for everything and everything in its place. The natural cracks, knots and colour variations of the wood add to its robust appeal.
