SPECIFICATIONS
Material: Liquidambar veneer on a plywood base.
OPTIONS
Finish: Natural or stained green, grey, red or blue. All colourways
available with either a matt or gloss varnish.
Cushions: Cushions are available for both the 4m and 2m bench, in
all fabrics and leathers from the LINTELOO collection. Customers
can opt to supply their own choice of upholstery fabric/leather.
Please note: leather upholstery requires mor (visible seams than

Concept
Whether as a coffee table or elegant slender bench (with optional cushion), the ‘Bimu’ by Dutch designer Bart Vos is a versatile piece of furniture. Of course, you can dress the ‘Bimu’ with favourite books, a piece of art or a statement lamp, but even without any adornment, ‘Bimu’ is utterly beautiful. The masterly application of the liquidambar wood veneer underlines its ostensibly simple construction, whereas the richness of the grain is enhanced by (optional) stains and varnishes.

After his study at the academy for Beeldende Kunsten in the Haque in 1996 Bart stood at the base of the design of Maupertuus, the famous shop of Vos Interieur in Groningen. Meanwhile he has the total creative control over there. With his studio for interior decoration and product design he takes care of a number of leading in- and exteriors in Holland and abroad. Since 2007 Bart has been operative for Gelderland with the series 7200. “People should get away from the narrow minded thinking in decoration. With the series 7200 you can create a sofa which is appropriate for you, with regard to composition, form, measurement and fabric. The design is simple, sleek and modest.
