The Dock counter table is the high version of the Dock table. Ideal in a commercial building or public space where no lamps can or may be attached to the ceiling. Or in a high industrial space where the lighting is not sufficient. The Dock counter table is ideal as a reading table or a landing table in an office or library, for example with height-adjustable bar stools. With the Dock and the decoration of lamps or hanging plants you immediately create an intimate, cozy atmosphere.

Inspired by a jetty

The first stylish Dock tables are already in use in the offices of the Antwerp Port House. "As the name suggests, the table is inspired by a jetty", explains designer Kurt van Overbeke. "Dock is designed for the Port House in Antwerp. This company is responsible for mooring boats from all over the world. Mooring is also the function that the Dock table has within the office. A place where people come to for a brief consultations. "

The frame and the lamps above the table create an intimate atmosphere at the Dock. Van Overbeke: "In addition, the lighting cables also refer to the ropes on a dock to secure boats."

Two sizes

The Dock countertable is available in two different sizes. The table top is 1 meter widths and for the length can be chosen from 3.2 or 4 meters. The frame can be powder coated in different colors and the table top can be selected from different top layers.

Belgian designer Kurt Van Overbeke studied Interior Design at Sint-Lucas in Ghent. He mainly works on office projects in which the new way of working is explicitly present.
