Siddharta mirror

Round mirrors with frames in special designs not only make a practical item but also a wonderful wall decoration for all kinds of living spaces. Siddharta is made in a traditional sand- casting process and shows clear traces of this archaic technique. The surface structure was inspired by the cross-section of a big, old tree with all its annual growth rings. This structure is pre-modelled in wax by hand before being transferred to the casting mould. Veining and irregularities turn out differently in every piece and radiate a very special charm. After demoulding and a light polishing, the frame is patinated carefully by hand. Your Siddharta mirror is easily cleaned with a soft damp cloth.
