Concept
Designed by Patricia Urquiola, Memory is an upholstery fabric with a tactile, resilient and irregular expression. It comes in a versatile palette of 20 colourways, 13 of which are new.
Memory has a ‘digital’ look and is constructed with bouclé yarns that play across its surface. In the areas where these yarns are less dense, the background layer of the fabric emerges. The subtle irregularities this creates capture the air of a beautifully aged material.
The original, strong contrasting colour combinations have been complimented with a series of 13 almost monochrome colourways. Both colour approaches compliment the pronounced structure of the fabric, while the new additions provide a more subtle expression. They comprise simple, ‘real’ colours, such as Pure Red and Green, as well as natural, earthy tones.
Durable and made from flame-retardant Trevira CS, Memory is suitable for all kinds of contract usages. Thanks to its distinctive individuality and lively expression, it is particularly well-suited to the hospitality sector.
