Concept

anthologie quartett is particularly breaking new ground with the kollege lamp by the young offenbach-based design team speziell® (sybille fleckenstein, jens pohlmann and thilo schwer): the light's materials comply with the concept first presented in paris and frankfurt in 2008: 'anthologie quartett- modern luxury made in europe'. the lamp can be adjusted into five different positions using an astoundingly easy technique: when in an upright position, it is primarily a (highly decorative) table lamp; in its four other positions, kollege proves to be a functional desk or workplace lamp. with just one hand, the lamp can be easily brought into the required position.

as a table and desk lamp, kollege is the first member of a family of lighting comprising floor, ceiling, table and wall lamps:

at the light + building 2010 speziell® has expanded its table and desk lamp, which was awarded the baden-württemberg design prize focus open silver by a wall lamp to add to the lighting family. the new kollege is not simply a wall lamp but is also suitable for use on the wall next to the bed or above.
