Concept
GAIA, sitting like in a blossom | The GAIA family was created by the Italian designer Monica Armani. The seven or five separately upholstered flexible backrest elements and the sophisticated upholstery of the generous seat area create the unmistakable look and impressive comfort of the GAIA family. In 2019 the first GAIA design was awarded the German Design Award. In 2020, the GAIA CALICE armchair won the award. Following this success, Monica Armani has skilfully transferred the design to two further editions. GAIA CASUAL and LINE
The GAIA CASUAL composition has a semicircular closed back with a sensually nonchalant drape. An elegant piping plays around the backrest of the GAIA LINE family. Three compositions in beautiful fabrics and high-quality leathers in the three seat heights- Lounging, Dining and High Dining. An additional exciting effect is achieved by a mix of materials for the back and seat in the many variations.
For the KFF partner company ASCO, the Italian designer has additionally designed three GAIA table compositions. The table columns take up the upholstery fabric of the GAIA chairs again and thus form a harmonious and unique ensemble. GAIA- exquisite furniture for the home or the expressive object.
