The softness and design of the John-John sofa in a bed with remarkable potential. Jean-Marie Massaud designs the John-John Bed instilling it with a relaxed and natural elegance. The two large, comfortable headboard cushions recall the characteristic backrest of the sofa in terms of the elegant dynamism of the surfaces. The delicate and subtle folds obtained thanks to the meticulous hand-processing enhance the tactility of the leather. The structure of the John-John Bed headboard is made from solid beech and poplar with MDF infill and padding in polyurethane foam. The cushions are padded in goose down and polyester wadding and attached to the structure by the Pelle Frau® leather upholstery. The bed frame is made from solid beech and poplar with padding in polyurethane foam and is designed to accommodate an ad hoc bed surface consisting of a series of beechwood slats that are fixed to the central crossbar. The Poltrona Frau® slat kit is available in two versions, rigid or with adjustable lower back support. Feet in aluminium with Ruthenium finish. John-John Bed is upholstered in Pelle Frau® leather.

Jean-Marie Massaud revisits the sophisticated and confident style of the John-John sofa and comes up with an original new interpretation, the John-John Bed. The bed structure remains deliberately linear and light, allowing the headboard to claim the limelight. Two large and comfortable cushions evoke the characteristic backrest of the sofa in the elegant movement of their surfaces. Delicate and subtle folds that underline the tactility of the leather are achieved through precision artisanal work. The back of the cushions, padded with soft goose down and polyester wadding, is covered with micro-perforated Pelle Frau® so it can adapt to movement and increase the sense of comfort. Also borrowed from the sofa are the minimalist T-shaped aluminium feet with ruthenium finish. The structure is made of solid beech and poplar padded with polyurethane foam, and the cushions are covered with Pelle Frau® leather from the Color System or Pelle Frau® Heritage. The bed surface is integrated with a special system of staves in the two rigid versions or with an adjustable lumbar support.
