Concept
"The collection of designs signify discovery from Dutch cartography in the 17th century to the classic bandana iconography of the Americana aesthetic. Bikoff’s historical global travel begins with Atlas Maior with a colorful reinterpretation of the 17th century map. Bikoff also looked to Ptolemy's ``systems of the world” with her interpretation of the Ptolemy Medallion showing the universe and celestial spheres.
Bikoff showcases the global voyage from the Old World to the New World through the designs of the Americana collection."
