They are special collections because they stem from the collaboration with artists and designers who make their talents available, defining a new way of conceiving wall decoration.

Wallpaper itself becomes a work of art and comes to life on the walls of homes. Art and collaborations with artists are a means of consolidating the brand's desire to add a bit of Beauty in the lives of everyone. Bringing a fragment of art to the places of living, whether private, residential, public or commercial spaces.

Concept

Saturno Buttò’s artwork is characterized by a personal, formal interpretation of European sacred art and technical skill, that reminds one of the great masters of our pictorial tradition. Figurative rituals, tableaux vivants, neo-Gothic altar pieces are the skillful creations with which Butto extracts the fascinating mysteries of an “obscure, dark religion. This concept is brilliantly illustrated by the juxtaposition between the body’s innate sensuality and its deeper spirituality. Through illustrating the conflict between eroticism and pain, transgression and rapture, Buttò’s valuable paintings on wood examine in depth the strict and conflicting vision of Western religious iconography by comparisons with the body. The body is, on one side exhibited like an object of cult, while simultaneously being denied its value of nascent erotic beauty. It’s a fascinating tension that above all exalts the human figure, to the centre of the exhibition.

MATERIALS

VINYL PAPER: a product made of two layers. An upper printable vinyl layer and a TNT (non-woven fabric) under part which ensures high dimensional stability during the application and drying phases of the product, as well as an easy to install and remove capability.

GLASS FIBER- EQ•DEKOR: a decorative and protective dual- function wallpaper created in partnership with Mapei. A bidirectional glass fiber reinforcement with greater stability, efficiency, extreme lightness and flexibility attributes. EQ•Dekor offers high structural performances, minimizing the risk of wall parts detaching in the event of an earthquake.

TELA(r) : the new decorated taffeta fabric for wall scenic designs. A Made in Italy stretched fabric in polyester with the highest resistance thanks to its exclusive weave composition of 110 threads per inch.

It is ideal for temporary installations in retail spaces, boutiques, shop displays, showrooms, exhibitions, event stands and hospitality ambiences, such as hotels, restaurants, bars, clubs.
