Hidde currently is the big success from the Label-collection. The lounge chair is named after Gerard’s eldest grandson. In one of the unique leather types from the collection lounge chair and leather show up best. The shape of the lounge chair has great similarity with a baseball glove. The shape of the seat invites you to nestle down. The fitting hocker completes the comfort.

Maintenance
In general, natural products such as wood and leather benefit the most from selective maintenance. Usually, dusting the surface with a soft, clean cloth, is sufficient. If necessary, clear up with a damp cloth (preferably, use distilled water. Do not use mineral water and detergents! Be careful with tap water, since this is often calciferous.) Specific care instructions for intensive maintenance of the different types of leather can be found on our website. Contact your retailer for more information and possible products for maintenance and/or cleaning. Visit the sites of the supplier for additional information regarding the maintenance of fabrics.

Gerard van den Berg

Plain, usually slightly curved, and yet suggestive and unmistakable forms are typical of Gerard van den Berg. The Dutch designer consciously goes for simplicity and for this very reason shows his creative ability. Van den Berg, born in 1947, studied furniture building and design at a technical college. In the Seventies he founded together with his brother the Montis upholstered furniture company. Thanks to his designs the young company soon attained international recognition. It´s success did not stop van den Berg´s leaving Montis in the early Nineties. Since then he has been a freelance designer. His work for leading international furniture companies and numerous prizes and awards testify to his creative ability.
