The bar stool About A Stool AAS 39 has the same capacity for transformation as the other members in the series, ranging from a minimalistic plastic stool to a more full-bodied upholstered version (AAS39). The curved backrest is balanced on an elegant rounded frame in steel, showcasing a more industrial design with a strong visual presence. Suitable for using as a bar stool in bars and restaurants, as well as at home for informal meals. Available in two heights and in a range of steel finishes, colours and upholstery options.

Concept
The About A Stool collection is the result of a continued collaboration between HAY and designer Hee Welling. The goal was to create a connected family of bar stools based around one simple, strong idea, which still retained the individual qualities of each model. By making the legs, shells and upholstery options interchangeable, the About A Stool series provides a wealth of design possibilities as well as retaining the elemental form. The series includes variants of stools in two different heights with wood or metal frames in a wide range of finishes, colours and upholstery options.
