AAL 87 SOFT DUO
The AAL 87 Soft Duo fuses the sleek, elegant aesthetics of the four-legged steel frame with
the softness and warmth of the quilted shell in contrasting materials. Retaining the same
compact body, shaped armrests, and simple, sculpted design that characterise the rest of the
lounge series, this design features a functional base with slim, angled legs that slant slightly outwards for optimal stability. The base is available in chrome and powder-coated steel and
the quilted shell is offered with two different textiles or leathers to create a unique look that
works equally well in corporate, public, or private contexts.

Concept
The About a Lounge Soft collection is the result of a long-term collaboration between HAY and designer Hee Welling. Retaining the same compact body, shaped armrests, and simple, sculpted design that characterise the rest of the lounge series, these models are softened by the warmth and comfort of the quilted shell. Featuring interchangeable bases in steel, aluminium or wood with different finishes, and upholstery offered in mono or duo options, the AAL Soft series provides a multitude of design combinations for a wide range of corporate, public, and private contexts.
