The MAREA range comprehends two different option when it comes to the sofa – with foldable arms and backrest or static. A range of poufs and armchairs with matching design are also available. The last introduction to the MAREA range was an upholstered panel on wheels (with breaks) that includes a movable meeting table.
Concept
Flexibility, change, adaptability are constant words on company’s vocabulary these days. We at GUIALMI have interpreted these needs and we have come up with some ideas and solutions about how companies can find their way thought out these troubled times, and how con office furniture help out on this process. MAREA is a system for very different and chameleonic areas that can provide solutions for meeting events, concentration work, privacy, need for better acoustic and even small, quick tasks such as reading mail, taking a call can also be done in spaces using Marea. A range of modules such as poufs, armchairs, sofas, pillows, can also be complemented by movable screens and partitions, movable pedestals with cushions on top, making the change of one work type to another an easy process. Space become not only more informal, dynamic, but also, they become easily adaptable. Marea was designed by Favaretto and Partners studio and won the RED DOT DESIGN AWARD.

(Italian Institute Design Disability today DFA Italia). The declaration encourages disability-proof design practices which aim to make objects and environments accessible and functional to the widest possible range of users.
