The Grant pouf collection includes three De Luxe poufs of various sizes.
The models are characterized by a particular weaving technique, made with strips of Pelle Frau®, which decorates the perimeter structure of the poufs. The leather covering is available in Pelle Frau® SC ColorSphere® and Pelle Frau® Soul.
Only for the Pouf ø46 De Luxe and Pouf 90x64 De Luxe models, there is also the option of covering that combines two types of leather: the first one, Pelle Frau® Motif Knits, applied to the vertical surface and the second one, Pelle Frau® Velvety, to the seat of the pouf.
The structure of the poufs and seats is made of birch plywood. The perimeter padding of the seats and armrests is in expanded polyurethane.
The Grant De Luxe pouf collection also includes, among others, a version with a practical container. This latter version has a birch plywood lid-seat and the container compartment is covered in black technical fabric. The opening mechanism is equipped with a system that locks the lid in position when open and cushions its closure.
Concept
Tristan Auer designs for Poltrona Frau a collection of poufs with a nomadic, versatile, and transversal elegance: the Grant seats live with the same ease in public or residential spaces, individually or grouped in customizable combinations. The creative inspiration arises from a mix of influences: the style of Hollywood star Cary and the military aplomb of General Ulysses. References to the codes of equestrian sports and luxurious pre-war automobiles. Grant encapsulates the entirely masculine essence of a sober, dry, unpretentious elegance.
The Grant De Luxe seats are characterized by the particular weaving technique that decorates the perimeter structure of the poufs, made with strips of Pelle Frau® inclined at 45°, while a piping in the same material delimits the seat and always matches the covering of the base.
