The robust flat steel frame allows for table lengths of up to 4 metres. The edges of the solid wood table tops are smoothed off towards the outer edges, making the table top appear as slim as the legs made of 12 mm flat steel. Linar Work is especially suitable for demanding conference areas but also as a universal desk or team workplace and can be supplied with media technology elements.
Concept
The Linar solid wood table features a four-legged flat steel structure which gives it a slender and sophisticated look. Yet the frame boasts excellent stability, enabling tables to be up to 4 metres in length.
The edges of the solid wood tabletop are bevelled, further emphasizing the table’s sophisticated character. The tabletop is available in lengths from 180 cm to 400 cm with a width of 100 cm. Linar is available in all types of wood and surface finishes in the Girsberger solid wood collection. The flat steel frame is black-coated as standard, but can also be ordered in any RAL colour on request. Born in 1963, he studied industrial design at Hamburg University of Fine Arts under the tutelage of Prof. Dieter Rams. He has worked internationally as a product designer for various renowned furniture makers and has received numerous awards. Mathias Seiler has had overall responsibility for design and marketing at Girsberger since 2010.
