Ategra is tailor-made for the “new office”. This swivel chair combines the features of an ergonomic functional swivel chair with visual lightness, fitting perfectly into modern and relaxed working environments. It has all the important functions that make up an ergonomic office swivel chair: The compact synchronous mechanism allows for plenty of movement while sitting, and automatically adjusts to the user’s weight, as the seat and backrest follow the user's movements in synch with their body. The seat is height- and depth-adjustable, and the backrest is also height-adjustable for accurate support of the lower back.
Concept
Ategra – a swivel chair for the modern working world
Ategra is available as a functional swivel chair and conference chair with a synchronous mechanism and various frames, as well as a high stool. The compact synchronous mechanism allows for plenty of movement while sitting, and automatically adjusts to the user’s weight, as the seat and backrest follow the user's movements in synch with their body. The seat is height- and depth-adjustable, and the backrest is also height-adjustable for accurate support of the lower back.
The backrest bar, which also functions as an armrest, has a knob on the back that is used to adjust the back height. The synchronous mechanism allows for a generous backrest tilt that can be locked in position, with a height- and depth adjustable seat that tilts in synch with the body.

Alejandro Valdés
Spain
After studying industrial design, Alejandro Valdés worked in Milan and Barcelona for Fiat Auto Advanced Design, Bonetto Design and Mario Ruiz design studio. Between 2008 and 2019 he collaborated with Lievore Altherr Molina on projects for clients including Andreu World, Arper, Donati, Foscarini, Sellex and Tecno. He opened his own studio in Barcelona in 2019, and teaches part-time at the Elisava Barcelona School of Design and Engineering.
