Nile table black
Architonic ID: 20280837
Year of Launch: 2022
Table lamp with diffuser in white jacketed blown glass and base in marble polished in a matte finish, crafted by hand, in Carrara marble for the white version and Marquina for the black version. The light is diffused and direct, downward and upward light.
Concept
Nile is a decorative lamp of remarkable character, with a vivid presence that brings sophisticated elegance to any space. An object that embodies the perfect balance of two opposites, the consistency of marble and the delicacy of glass, the contrast of mineral coolness and handmade warmth, industry and craftsmanship.
Already beautiful when off, it takes on even more allure when the light filters through the precious blown glass, shining down to the surface below and upward through the two open sides of the diffuser. The arrangement of the two volumes seems to defy the law of gravity. The base and the diffuser, at different angles, remain in place thanks to an invisible game of weights, positions and joints for a unified dynamic effect.
