Table lamp with direct and diffused light. Hand-blown cased glass diffuser with glossy finish, white on the inside and coloured on the outside. Die cast aluminium base and rod, hand finished and polished in the aluminium version, coated with liquid paint in the black chrome version. Dimmer for the gradual brightness adjustment.
Concept
A well-balanced and sophisticated presence, imposing yet not ostentatious, based on the contrast between the warmth of the glass diffuser – which is hand blown using a craft-based process – and the technology of the metal tripod. A further take on the concept of the classic bedside table, Lumiere XXS and XXL stands out for a clearer and more marked look compared to the “historic” Lumiere.

Responsible in the past for the art direction of Artemide (glass collection), Cappellini (from 1979 to 1989), Fontana Arte (furniture collection), Foscarini (lamps), Minotti (from 1998 until today) and Roda, he designs for various companies, including: Artemide, Cappellini, Cassina, Dornbracht, Driade, Emu, Ernestomeda, Fiam Italia, Flos, Flou, Fontana Arte, Foscarini, Jab, MatteoGrassi, Minotti, Molteni & C., Moroso, Olivari, Pamar, Roda, RB Rossana, Sambonet, Serralunga, The Rug Company, Venini. Dordoni Architetti, founded in association with architects Alessandro Acerbi and Luca Zaniboni, deals with architectural planning and interior design, developing projects for houses, residential complexes, industrial and commercial areas such as offices, stores and showrooms, restaurants, hotels, yachts, as well as exhibit stands of diverse commercial fields.
