Concept
A group of lines that create an elegant, fascinating symphony in a suspended, almost magical equilibrium and give life to a new lamp designed to feature in large public and private spaces. Aluminium elements flow and combine together to give the suspension a light, bodiless effect. As well as illuminating rooms with a pleasant effect of light and shade, the lamp has a hidden and slightly mobile nature. Oscillation makes the aluminium elements vibrate and emit a soft, magical sound. This “musicality” has inspired its names- Allegro ritmico, Allegro vivace and Allegro assai – three versions in different sizes and colours that can also be personalised on request.
When used alone or in a group, Allegro is ideal for creating a visual focal point in any environment. It characterises and enhances architecture, thanks to the complexity of its language and its interpretation of materials, shapes and volumes. It gives a diffused downwards light that reflects off the ceiling.

Switzerland
Founded in 1991 in La Neuveville, Switzerland, by Aurel Aebi, Armand Louis and Patrick Reymond, today atelier oï is one of the most internationally renowned Swiss design offices. The name oï is derived from the Russian word “troïka”, which means a carriage drawn by three horses. The designers use the middle section of this word to represent the idea behind their collaboration – a creative triumvirate driving projects forward. The transdisciplinary atelier, based in the Moïtel (a former 1960s motel), is a creative place that unites intellectual expertise and craftsmanship. The work of the internationally sought-after designers ranges from architecture and interior design to product design and scenography.
