Arch Chair

ARCH CHAIR is Martin Hirth’s delicate idea of a leather armchair. Its archetypal appearance is formed by the puristic lines of its structure and its taut leather surface. Due to the shape of the metal frame the chair’s flexing effect offers high comfort. The seat and back of the chair are made from one continuous piece of vegetable tanned cowhide. The seat’s special suspension offers different seating positions and adapts to the individual body. The 3 mm thick core leather is folded back at the arm- and backrest and sewn together in the colour of the leather. Each piece of natural leather has its distinct character and is soak dyed with its edges left raw. The slender bows and the round base are made from matt powder-coated steel and can rotated in relation to each other.
