Nautica is a hanging chair that pays homage to one of the first pieces created by Expormim in the 70s. The swing, designed by Mut Design, is intended to surprise and rethink the use of rattan, just as the first version did.
No matter if it hangs from a tree branch, or from a floor-standing structure, Nautica stands out thanks to the subtle play of shadows result of its movement that reminds the reflection of the sunlight falling on the ocean waves. Despite its visual lightness, the piece is notable for its sturdiness and resistance. It is also suitable for any sort of space, always inviting to enjoy its sway.
On the words of its creators: “Nautica is the result of attention to detail, the desire for provocation and the respect for the tradition crafting rattan as unique and main material in its design”.

Mut is a design studio founded by Alberto Sanchez and made up of a multidisciplinary team. It is also a publisher whose principles are based on emotional design. When Mut was created, the aim was to experiment and redefine the objects of daily use. This is the hallmark reflected in each project of this enterprising atelier. The independent character has made possible to turn Mut into a design icon, and after being present in different international fairs regularly, its success has no limits. Mut, a laboratory of ideas in constant boiling.
