Concept
Iconic and linear shapes, inspired by Nordic design
Minimal design, Scandinavian lightness and usage versatility define this Piaval collection, Elsa, in ash wood, made up of a chair and stool and created by Swedish designer David Ericsson.
Its simple shape hides sturdy durability and an ability to fit into any surroundings.
The warm wood raw material, which Piaval has been working knowingly for over a hundred years and across four generations, adds personality to the frame, which features armrests that open outwards and a delicately shaped seat to guarantee unexpected levels of comfort.
Elsa comes in two versions: one is round featuring soft, elegant curves and the other is square, with strong lines that emphasise the solid structure.
Elsa is a stackable chair and also comes with an upholstered seat and back. The frame comes in beech or oak wood for the square model, and beech or natural ash wood for the round model.
The Cameo collection consists of a modular sofa, sofa, lounge chair, armchair, chairs with and without armrests, and a stool. The collection also includes occasional tables and coffee tables.
