Sideboard Konrad

The Konrad sideboard consists of a concrete clamp that encloses a wooden element with three handle-less drawers.

The sideboard is not nearly as heavy as it appears, because the concrete part consists of individual slim, stable concrete slabs that are glued together at mitre joints, creating the illusion of a solid cast clamp. This means that the entire sideboard, which is 212 cm long, weighs just 125 kg.

The wooden insert consists of veneered plywood panels combined with solid wood elements.
