Bench Nelly

The concrete bench Nelly appears to consist of a solid, thick concrete slab on steel legs. However, if you look inside, you will find a lot of air.

Typical of efecto, this bench is also made of 13 mm thin, sturdy concrete slabs that are mitre-cut and glued together. This hollow block is then invisibly screwed onto the metal legs. The result is a lightweight bench – weighing just 55 kg with a length of 240 cm – that can be easily carried by two adults.
