Kyn is a modular, multifunctional, painted steel bookcase designed with the minimum number of elements required for an essential storage system suited to the needs of a modern lifestyle. Characterised by an intuitive design, the structure is easy to assemble, reconfigure and recycle. The Kyn bookcase modules are available in 2 widths (L.42 and L.80 cm) and 4 heights (2 to 5 compartments) that can be combined with each other. The basic configuration of the system includes a structural back that can be freely mounted at the preferred height, and the intermediate sides are arranged to allow for changes in height and to create a composition at different heights. The structure is composed of a 20x20 mm square section steel tubular profile. It is available in a white and anthracite finish, while the metal boxes are offered in a variety of colours.
Kyn offers a flexible wall-mounted or centrepiece bookcase solution for freely organising, subdividing or reconfiguring workspaces.
Concept
Kyn is not simply a bookcase, but a modular and durable system for organising, dividing and inhabiting the office space. Its design comes from a design challenge: to obtain the greatest number of possible solutions with the smallest number of elements. Essential lines, level jumps and coloured containers are the elements of its multifaceted language with no boundaries of use. Simple to assemble and reconfigure over time, as needs and situations of use change, it has a long life cycle and is easily recyclable.

Born in 1963 in S. Agata di Militello, Messina. In 1982 he moves to Padua where he began his professional activity and in the following years specialized as a designer mainly in the office furniture sector. Since 1991 he has worked as a designer in DVO S.R.L. for which today he is responsible for design, planning and industrialization of the product.
