About this product

Architonic ID: 1018768

Year of Launch: 2005

The Don’do, Poltrona Frau’s first rocking chair, is a contemporary twist on a timeless classic. Designed by Jean-Marie Massaud, it combines a clean-cut and confident style with a strong focus on comfort. Don’do is the latest example of consummate craftsmanship applied to contemporary design, a perfect balance of lines, curves and thicknesses obtained thanks to expert manual techniques. The shell and armrests of the Don’do rocking chair are made from moulded rigid polyurethane and reinforced with a metallic insert. The feet are made from fine steam-curved solid oak with an aged walnut finish. The upholstery is in Pelle Frau® leather. Special longitudinal stitching decorates the entire upholstered surface of the shell. The height of the headrest cushion can be adjusted using a hole-punched belt located at the back of the armchair.

Concept

A true modern classic. A new example of traditional craftsmanship applied to modern design. The shell is made from curved multi-ply beech wood, while the feet are made from fine steam-curved solid oak with an aged walnut finish. The perfect balance of lines, curves and thicknesses is thanks to the skilful manual techniques which feature the use of the Pelle Frau® leather for the seat upholstery. The headrest cushion is height-adjustable.
