For his new armchair DS-265 Coco, Sven Dogs was inspired by the distinctive vibes of Vienna's hottest locales. His aim was to create an armchair that would feel like a cosy sanctuary but that would also combine the softness of leather with the aesthetics seen in traditional handcrafted upholstery. The DS-265 has been designed to convey the notions of passion and tradition while allowing whoever is seated comfortably within it to drift off into thought.

Concept
An oasis of comfort
Sven Dogs has designed the DS-265 armchair to offer the ultimate in comfort, with its soft, elegant curves and contrasting seat edge. When he embarked on creating this elegant design, the Vienna-based designer was inspired by the coziness of Vienna’s stylish and relaxed sky bars. He combines this with a sculptural exterior that reinterprets the concept of the seat shell in a particularly harmonious way, which, along with the straight edge of the seat, highlights the distinctiveness of the design. The armchair is an oasis of comfort thanks to its beautiful lines, the seams of the seat shell and the cosy and soft upholstered seat cushions. The DS-265 armchair looks perfect in various areas of the home as well as in lobbies. It is like a dear friend – always there to welcome, embrace and support you.
