Laura Brussaard, the young design student who designed this chair, suddenly passed away at the age of 17 from the effects of a massive pulmonary embolism. It was her vision to create a chair where vulnerable groups would feel safe in. De LAURA® chair continues her legacy. Laura designed the chair to be reversible: both sides of the seat are upholstered and by turning the chair over the user can choose from two different seat heights. Making this chair suitable for both adults and children.
