Cykelog – the user-friendly lean-up bicycle stand for public spaces

Inspired by Kopenhagen’s daily bicycle chaos, Danish designer Jacob Johan Würtzen addressed himself to the further development of public bicycle stands.

The Cykelog parking system is an ideal balance between user-friendliness, efficient use of space and aesthetic considerations. Accessible from either side, the frame can accommodate two bikes, which can be easily pushed in and locked. The vertical posts between which the wheels are pushed offer additional stability whatever the tyre dimensions. The double frame not only maintains enough distance between the two bicycles, but also dispenses with sharp angles and parts to prevent wheels from being scratched or chains from being snagged.

Besides the functional double frame, Cykelogs allow a wide variety of uses such as separate elements or in groups around trees or advertising stands.
