Sedus crossline swivel chair with new Similar-Plus mechanism.
With “crossline”, Sedus is opening the door to a whole new sitting experience. The centrepiece is the innovative Similar-Plus mechanism, which transforms sitting to the epitome of “perfect balance” and ensures previously unimaginable coordinated movements during dynamic sitting. The operating elements, which are also newly developed, allow the backrest pressure and the opening angle of the backrest to be set conveniently and intuitively.

Markus Dörner’s career as a designer started off with an apprenticeship as a cabinet maker, and several years of experience in furniture making and exhibition stand construction were followed by a degree in product design. Markus then continued to specialise in furniture design – from 2004 to 2010 as a designer at the Vogtherr design studio in Mulhouse, France and at Sedus in Waldshut, Germany. He has been working freelance in his own studio in Kassel since 2011.
