Concept
Adaptable, open and generous, the Cross table is equally suited for the boardrooms, residential spaces or for collaborative work environments. Thanks to optional configuration arrangements it can serve as a temporary meeting ground for group gatherings or a communal work station with room enough to share. The table’s substantial length, both minimal and architectural, features a sturdy structure with ample space to create. The elegance of the Cross table system naturally complements meeting spaces, from meeting rooms to residential settings. The width and variety of the tops, together with the possibility of creating in-line configurations, characterise the functionality and versatility of this table. Available in standard or electrified versions, the tops in Fenix® and wood variants add warmth to the refinement of this table, designed to meet the most diverse needs. The 74 cm height is joined by a new 105 cm version, available in table and console versions, ideal as an informal meeting place or as a work table.

Italy
Bruno Fattorini was born in Domodossola in 1939. He studied economics. In 1992 he took over the company MDF and immediately started to implement an innovative and dynamic business and product strategy. At present President at MDF Italia, he is the designer and art director around which the company’s research and its cultural and aesthetic philosophy revolve. The determined choice to orientate developments towards precise life styles is a leitmotiv of the MDF Italia collection, reinforcing its strong identity: a minimalism which seems to be addition more than subtraction, a quest for new spaces for what is new though respecting the past and the extreme simplicity of shapes. In a short time, an important collection of bookshelves, furniture, tables, beds, sofas and complementary items was in production arising a great interest from the very beginning. “Evidence” of the creative maturity and intelligent curiosity underlying research activities, and of the aesthetic purity in design, is particularly visible in some of his most successful products:, the Lim table, the Home Desk, the Aluminium Beds, the Alu Cabinets, the Allen sofa e the Minima shelving system. Indeed, Minima obtained a “special mention” in the Compasso D’Oro ADI Competition in 1998.
