Barca Lounge Chair

Barca means a boat in Italian. The shape of the shell looking like a boat can changes as you wish by moving the 28 pieces of sliding boards consisting of the shell. It was abig challenge: the sliding boards must move smoothly but maintain a posture at the same time. The chair won the best prize in International Furniture Design Fair in Asahikawa 2008 for its originality, and has grown up to be one of the iconic products to show CONDE HOUSE's enthusiasm for design.
