CAMEO
Contemporary elegance, combining design and comfort
Designed for Piaval by Edi and Paolo Ciani, the Cameo collection features continuous, sleek and harmonious lines. The corner free line is enhanced by the selection of upholstery, specially chosen to offer soft tactile sensations.
To be used in turnkey furniture projects, from waiting rooms and lounges to relaxation spaces, from the hall to the dining room, as well as for the guest rooms, Cameo harmoniously combines design and comfort, thanks to the careful choice of materials and details.
The workmanship on the profile, particularly, identifies the whole collection, and is the fruit of an in-depth knowledge of wood and Piaval’s skill in bringing elegance to the project, while conferring stability and robustness.
The Cameo collection consists of a modular sofa, sofa, bergère, lounge chair, armchair, chairs with and without armrests, and a stool. The collection also includes occasional tables and coffee tables.
CAMEO modular sofa
Large, comfortable, minimalist, highly flexible. Cameo is a sitting system for lounges and waiting areas that is constantly evolving. The modules are also perfect for small spaces too. The perfect geometric shapes carve out centrepiece seating which can be adapted to suit an infinite number of compositions. The trapezoid shape marks out two symmetrical seats, interrupted depthways by the backrest which adds a simple, fixed line to the design. The same shapes can be found in the model with a single seat.
The individual modules fit together perfectly to create a continuous sofa, or they can be alternated with ash tables. The seat and backrest are made from polyurethane foam in differentiated layers, 25 cm thick, that hold their shape.
