BASIL mixed material chair with a seat covered in reclaimed leather, a solid wood frame and a metal beam.
The use of mixed materials ensures a strong yet lightweight, ergonomic and stylish design. The shape of the shell is reminiscent of the morphology of a basil leaf, becoming both a structural and decorative theme of the product.The colour of the metal beam, which joins the four wooden legs, can be chosen to match the seats, making it easy to customise.

Dondoli met Pocci in Florence at the Faculty of Architecture, where they were part of the same working group. In 1983, they started a studio focused on industrial and architectural projects, which, in 1989, shifted its focus exclusively to industrial design.
