Concept
BIG starts from an abacus of essential geometries to design a new font that translates into light. Base modules, either linear or curved, with precise geometric proportions, allow to combine the individual elements to create countless lighting structures, both essential and complex. It is a basic principle thatgenerates an open system. This idea is associated with the optoelectronic skills of Artemide to define an innovative construction principle and produce continuous and comfortable light.
